Our Mission

Pilsen Defense & Access is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that facilitates access to self-defense, anti-bullying, and violence prevention training and other resources for marginalized families and children.

We are based in Chicago’s beautiful and historic inner-city Pilsen neighborhood. Our leadership’s roots run multiple generations’ deep here in Pilsen and we’re passionate about doing our part to keep the community strong and well-equipped to combat the symptoms of systemic oppression.
